unlink some mystery sites within linked sites
-
There seems to be multiple sites showing in my linked sites that are not my sites. I’m not sure how they got there but I’m unable to deactivate them/ remove them from my list. You will know which 2 they are as they are not appropriate sites, I’m unaware of how long they have been there. I’m assuming my account has possibly been compromised at some point. The sites also look like they’re no longer active sites which may be why I can’t remove them unless there’s some bug within jetpack that has liked old IP’s of sites since I’ve moved across multiple different servers over the years and for some reason has then added them, I’m rather unsure how they have turned up.

Hi there,
Those represent sites that were set up on other providers (Bluehost, Hostgator, GoDaddy, etc.) using the open source variant of the WordPress software. When you add the Jetpack plugin to a WordPress site hosted with another provider, it connects it to your account here, which is how those came to be added.
I can confirm that several of the listed sites are no longer online, and I have removed those on your behalf since you are unable to do so.
I do not see any suspicious activity on your account but if you have any concerns you may also want to enable Two Step Authentication — a second step to the log-in process that no one but you can access — using your cell phone for authentication. Learn more about enabling two step authentication:
Hope this helps!

Thank you for resolving this issue, please could you delete the post so when my business is searched it doesn’t come up within search engines. Many thanks.

Hello there,
We wouldn’t be able to delete this thread – but I can’t see any public references to a domain on this thread.
I hope this helps.
