Unlinking custom domain from WordPress.com site…I've tried everything?

I was using domain mapping to change my blog from hemdash.wordpress.com to just hemdash.com, but I want to unlink the two now. I’m hosting hemdash.com with GoDaddy. I’ve cancelled domain mapping, I’ve changed my DNS servers back to their original settings on GoDaddy, I’ve uninstalled the WordPress application that was linked to hemdash.com. I’ve cleared the cache. I’ve basically undone everything I can think of that created the link between the two sites in the first place. But whenever I try to go to hemdash.com, it still shows a WordPress favicon, and the only thing that comes up is an error saying “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.” How do I get my site to not be linked to WordPress at all?
