Unlinking WordPress.com Self-Hosted Blogs
-
Hello WordPress Team! I need some assistance in removed outdated (added by JetPack) blogs from the /my-blogs section of my wordpress.com account. Specifically the blogs are as listed below:
Central Island Airsoft
cia.islandadventure.ca
Occupy Nanaimo
occupynanaimo.caPlease and thank you to whomever removes them, and while they’re at it, I’d like to ask Why are we not allowed to remove the blogs added by JetPack ourselves?
It seems like there are countless posts in the community forum asking admins/mods to remove outdated self-hosted (added by JetPack) blogs which I can imagine would take up much of your time. Surely it would be simpler to allow users to remove (maybe “unlink”?, as they are self hosted) from their account?
Thanks,
Erik

Hi there,
Staff can do this for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.(In the future Jetpack users will be able to do this. At present staff has to do it for you.)

I removed those two sites for you. As timethief mentioned, this doesn’t exist as a user-facing tool because we haven’t yet built it. It’s on the radar, I know it’s frustrating.

First I thank you for removing the “dead” blogs for me @andrewspittle, and thanks for the clarification @timethief on the feature being added in the future.
As long as it’s on the radar, I don’t think the userbase should be frustrated, especially considering us self-hosted guys can still get great support from a community with 10+ years experience. You guys are great and I thank you!
