Unlock domain to complete transfer to another host

    I’m trying to transfer my domain to Namecheap but there appears to be a lock on it so it cancels everytime I try to transfer it. I know there’s a 60 day hold on new domains but I’ve had this one since 2020. How can I bypass this or contact someone to get the hold lifted/

    Hi there –

    Where are you trying to transfer the domain from? Usually, the place that currently has the domain registration has a place where you can “unlock” your domain. It may be that the current provider has it automatically set to locked. So you will need to login to where you currently have the domain and unlock it.
