unlock my domain

  I’m transferring kathyleicester.com from wordpress to hostgator.

  I’ve done everything I need to do prior to the transfer, including unlocking the domain.

  Hostgator shows the domain kathyleicester as LOCKED. WordPress shows the domain kathyleicester as UNLOCKED.

  Help, please

  I can confirm the kathyleicester.com domain is unlocked. Sometimes changes in settings like that one take time to be seen by other services. You may just need to wait it out, however, you can also try approving the transfer request manually with the following steps:

  1. Go to https://wordpress.com/my-domains/
  2. Click “Edit” on the kathyleicester.com line
  3. Click “Transfer Domain” on the left
  4. Click the “Accept Transfer” button

  I’ve tried approving the request manually. Nothing.

  How long does “wait it out” go?

  Thank you for asking! I think the answer is “no”. Finally I got a fellow who did some sort of double hosted fix it change domain maneuver. No final email but I remain hopeful.
