Unlock my domain so that I can transfer to GoDaddy

  Hi Support,

  I need to unlock my domain so that I can complete the transfer process at GoDaddy. GoDaddy says my domain control is with WordPress.com and it needs to be unlocked at WordPress.com.

  lisaspersonalconcierge.com is my domain. How do I unlock it?

  Please help!

  Hi there,

  lisaspersonalconcierge.com is not connected to the account you are contacting us from. It is connected to a different account. Do you happen to have another WordPress.com account you can log into? Our support page provides step by step instructions on how to transfer your domain away from WordPress.com:

  If the account that my domain is connected to has the product expired can I renew the subscription and gain access? If someone else purchased the domain on my behalf and I can’t get in touch with them is there a way I can get control of it? What do you recommend?

  Only the owner of the domain can control it.

  Can you tell me what account has control of my domain? What is the WordPress account? My site is down and I need to resolve this issue quickly.

  No, we can’t give that information out as it is a violation of user privacy. What I can do is send an email to the address that you need to use to sign in correctly. I’ll send that next. Understand, we can’t tell you what email address we sent the note to.
