  Hi WordPress Support,

  I previously purchased the domain perrinlin.com through WordPress.com, but after I canceled the plan and received a refund, the domain became parked.

  I can still see the site listed under my “Sites” page, but it no longer appears under “Domains”.

  When I check the WHOIS record, it shows the domain is still registered under WordPress, but I don’t have control of it anymore.

  I would like to connect it to my new hosting provider (Hostinger).

  Could you please help me restore or transfer the domain back to my account, or provide a way to unlock it for transfer-out?

  Hi @perrinlin,

  I checked the domain you mentioned and can see that you’ve already canceled it. A full refund has been issued for the domain.

  Just to clarify, when a domain is canceled, it goes through a cancellation process and won’t be immediately available for registration with another registrar.

  Since the domain has been canceled, it is no longer active in your account, and you won’t be able to transfer it. To transfer the domain to another registrar, you’ll first need to repurchase it. We can send you a payment link to complete the purchase.
