Unlocking my domain

  I keep unlocking my domain to transfer it. When I go to transfer it, my new host says it is locked. When I return to wordpress, it has been locked again without me approval. Therefore, this is preventing me from transferring.

  Hi there,

  It sounds like you are running afoul of a glitch that we have been having with our registrar partners where domain locking (more to the point, domain unlocking) has been malfunctioning. Not all domains are having the issue, but clearly some of them are. I’m sorry that yours is included!

  We have a developer working on it, and I have added yours to the list of domains which are having problems. As soon as I have any additional information, I will let you know!

  How long is this expected to last? My domain is expiring soon, and I need to make the switch before this happens.

  We are trying to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing when it will get sorted out since we are dealing with people who are outside of our organization, but as soon as it is I will let you know!
