unmap a domain

I mistakenly mapped a 2nd domain createpublishrepeat.com to my daracardenas.com wordpress site but need to unmap it so I can map it to my createpublishrepeat wordpress site. How do I undo this? Please HELP!

Not to worry. Staff will remove the domain mapping for you. I tagged this thread for them to do that. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. -

Since your other site is in a different account, the easiest way to fix this was to cancel the domain mapping subscription and refund your payment.
It may take a little while for the change to register everywhere, but by this time tomorrow you should be able to remap the domain to your other site.

I have the same issue. The account is under a different username than this one. The URL is “www.bewellrehab.com” but I cannot get to the login page because I get the following error:
bewellrehab.wordpress.com doesn’t exist.
I am trying to disconnect the URL from wordpress and host it on another site. Can anyone help?

Help!!! Socorro! I need the same assistance as these two people asking about how to UNMAP a domain name from one wordpress.com site in order to MAP same domain name to another wordpress.com site. Long story, but I want to UNMAP a domain name I mapped just yesterday and link it to my OTHER wordpress.com site. Please help me do this quickly and easily. If I need to cancel my domain mapping…how do I do that exactly? Where do I click? Who do I call? Thank you!

I mapped divorcedoulasandiego.com to createsacredspace.wordpress.com and what I REALLY want to do is to change that….and map divorcedoulasandiego.com to my divorcedoulalauren.com (wordpress site). Can you help me do that?
A couple of days ago I paid to have that first mapping step done and then I solved an issue with divorcedoulalauren site and would like to change the mapping of divorcedoulasandiego. Do I need to cancel anything? or can it just be re-mapped and done?

@ lauriebabb11 Those two sites aren’t in the same account so I can’t move the mapping for you. Instead I removed the domain mapping from createsacredspace.wordpress.com. You should be able to re-map it to the other site now. Let me know if you continue to have trouble.

It looks like you have the premium upgrade on both sites, since domain mapping is included you should be all set. Let me know if you get charged and I’ll look into it.

I thought you had a premium subscription on divorcedoulalauren.wordpress.com, but I see now that you don’t. If you’d like to move the premium features you have on createsacredspace.wordpress.com to divorcedoulalauren.wordpress.com we can do that. Will that work for you?

@lizthefair I have cancelled the domain mapping to kerrieloughran.wordpress.com and I have received email confirmation that it has been cancelled. However my site has now disappeared. Can you please help me? :)
