Unmap a domain from my wordpress.com?
-
Hi there! I did transfer of my domain (that I bought on wordpress.com) to my Godaddy account. Transfer was well done, I payed for it and it is on my list at Godaddy site. But it is still on my list here on wordpress.com.
If I want to point to my new hosting I can do that only trough wordpress.com and then my blog here verovillalobos76.wordpress.com also points to new hosting.
If I did transfer to another company, how my domain can be on list here?
Even if I did transfer of commercial domain, can I make it my free wordpress.com domain to work? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your WordPress.com site still has a domain mapping upgrade. That links a domain registered somewhere else with your WordPress.com site.
If you don’t want that domain to be linked to your WordPress.com site anymore, you can cancel that domain upgrade on your My Upgrades page. That way, there won’t be any link between your domain and your WordPress.com site.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you! I have trouble moving my followers. I installed Jetpack plugin and connected it to wordpress.com site and when I follow procedure to migrate I cant find anything on list “WordPress.com sites”. Can you please help me here?

Hi there,
Can you please log in to the other account linked to verovillalobos76.wordpress.com and reply to this forum thread to confirm that you want to move your followers?
The other account is the owner of the WordPress.com site at verovillalobos76.wordpress.com, so I just need confirmation from that account first. If you don’t remember what account that is, you can check the list of users under Users > All Users in the site’s dashboard.
Once that’s done, I can transfer those followers over to your new site for you.

Thanks! I just finished moving your followers over to verovillalobos.com, so you will see them appear on that site soon. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
