Unmap domain

  Hello,

  I would like to unmap the domain http://www.nvisionarystudio.co.uk from my blog but I cant seem to do this. I want to make a switch over to .org to be able to use the custom themes etc, but without the unmapping i cannot go any further.

  How do I go about doing this?

  Your name servers are not pointing to WordPress.COM for nvisionarystudio.co.uk – it looks like you are doing some sort of strange domain forwarding at your Registrar – check with your registrar

  once name servers are changed from WordPress.COM, domain mapping largely does not matter for the custom domain name since nobody can get to the blog here

  just in case I will flag this for the staff

  you should be able to cancel the domain mapping at

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades

  Hi!

  I have unmapped the domain nvisionarystudio.co.uk from your WordPress.com blog. Since your mapping purchase for that upgrade was out of the refund period (30 days), I went ahead and refunded your mapping purchase for nvisionary.co.uk to offset the removal of the upgrade.

  After reading your previous thread here, it sounds like you’re thinking of moving your entire site to WordPress.org:

  Having a major problem –

  Basically Ive purchased a new hosting package that works well with wordpress.org, the host is called tsohost.co.uk. I have changed the nameservers and the host has the domain nvisionarystudio.co.uk.

  I have installed WordPress 4.0 on the host control panel, it then directs me to login into WordPress (.org is supposed to be accessed) from http://nvisionarystudio.co.uk/wp-admin but then SUDDENLY re-directs me to a WORDPRESS.COM nvisionary studio does not exist site?

  Why is the page re-directing to .com in my browser? I have tried clearing cache and cookies. This is really annoying me because I cannot get started with my new hosting and wordpress.org install in order for me to create my own custom site – instead it redirects me back to .com telling my site does not exist???

  Please help, the support is great here.

  Hi! @jeremeylduvall, I paid $13 to map my existing domain to my wordpress blog, now I need help unmapping the domain…

  Blog: draftrobportman.wordpress.com (since deleted)
