Unmap domain to WordPress

Hi,
I would like to unmap janiceliang.com domain from my WordPress website.
How do I do that? The domain is not purchased through WordPress.. it from a 3rd party.. and I need to unmap it from wordpr3ss so I can use in on other website.How do i do this? Please help!

When you say janiceliang.com is not registered with WordPress.com and that you would like to use this domain for other purposes, you should contact your domain registrar to modify your DNS records.

Now it is mapped to WordPress.. how should i do to Remove? It’s not the dns record.. it’s mapped to WordPress..

Unmapping requires staff’s input.

To confirm, you want to remove the domain mapping upgrade for janiceliang.com, but you don’t want to cancel your plan? Once you confirm I can remove the mapping upgrade for you.
To point your domain to a different hosting provider, please contact your domain registrar for help changing the domain’s name servers.

Yes, I want to remove the domain mapping upgrade for janiceliang.com .. I have a 1 year subscription until July 2018. If possible I would like to cancel my plan as well.Ok noted on the changing of domain name server. Thanks!

If you want to cancel both your plan and domain mapping you can do it from the Purchases page:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
It will first cancel the plan, and then you’ll be able to cancel the domain mapping afterwards. At this point we are not able to issue a late refund any more, though.

@youssefpartners, there is no mapping upgrade for that domain in your account.
As you have a Business Plan, please use the support contact form to contact us in future. And when you post in the forums, please don’t post into old threads created by other users. Rather create your own thread.

I have several domains registered to this wordpress account.
So my primary domain as jorisolivier.com works fine.Recently we designed a new site called passio2018.wordpress.com. My intend is to get it published under passio2018.com.
The domain passio2018.com is unfortunately already registered under register.be., so the easy migration update through payment is not working.When I try to add the domain name to this wordpress account, I get the error that it is already registerd under jorisolivier.com (which is the primary domain of this wordpress account.

There are not any custom domains registered to your account. Please go ahead and sign in to the account that you need help with an create a new thread so that we can assist you there.
