unmap my site

  Hi
  I mapped my website with WordPress.com
  Now I’m planning to build new webpage with WordPress.org
  FTP doesn’t work at the moment. I believe it’s because of mapping….
  Can you help me to unmap the site in order to use iamssu.com with FTP?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What is it exactly that you are trying to do? Have you mapped your domain recently to WordPress.com and are you now trying to use it at WordPress.org? Users on WordPress.com don’t have FTP access which means you would have to use a different host for your domain. Creating a new site with WordPress.org means that it is a self-hosted site and you have to use a separate registrar for your domain. You can see the difference between the WordPress.com and WordPress.org, here:

  You should be able to remove the mapping from your Manage Purchases page, here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  After you have unmapped the domain you would have to change the DNS settings to point the domain to a different host.
