Unmapping

    My collegae mapped our domain (twentytwoproducties.nl) to WP, but without telling me. Now I’ve acquired a premium account and am hosting twentytwoproducties.wordpress.com.

    Could we unmap the first to the second?

    Hi there:

    Your domain twentytwoproducties.nl is not registered here at WordPress.com, so that’s not something we can affect on our end.

    You’ll need to have your colleague log into the account where the domain is registered and change the NS to point to WordPress.com: 

    ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com

    Once the NS changes propagate, it should resolve to your WordPress.com hosted site within 24 hours or so, usually sooner.

    If you’re not sure where your domain is registered, you can use this Euro DNS tool to look up your .nl domain information:

    https://www.eurodns.com/whois-search/nl-domain-name
