unmapping a 3rd party domain

  Hello,

  I wonder if a staff member can help me. I need to unmap a domain (paulmurphydesign.co.uk) from my WP site. I need to give control of DNS back to my domain provider in order to set up new email accounts.

  Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

  Hi Paul,

  You don’t need to unmap a domain from your WordPress.com site in order to change its DNS. You should be able to log into your domain’s control panel and request for the DNS to be reverted.

  Alternatively, you should be able to continue pointing your domain at WordPress.com, and then set up your domain MX records to allow it to receive email. Here’s a support document that shows you how to do so:
