unmapping a domain
-
I mapped jacowatersports to jacowatersports.wordpress.com as the site is hosted on WP servers.
Now i have to move jacowatersports.com to GoDaddy where i bought the domain and today a WP hosting plan.
I changed the GoDaddy DNS server from WP dns server back to GDaddy DNS Server but i still get redirected to jacowatersports.wordpress.com.
I see that in WP the domain jacowatersports.com is still mapped to jacowatersports.wordpress.com and this may be the culprit. How can i unmap jacowatersports.com from jacowatersports.wordpress.com?
Thanks and best regards

Hi there,
I have removed the connection of jacowatersports.com from jacowatersports.wordpress.com per your request.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Thanks Dan,
something changed now, but it’s still not right.
When you enter http://www.jacowatersports.com/ you enter on another empty wordpage site.
I can see that the DNS records for the mapped jacowatersports.com are still handled by wordpress.com instead of GoDaddy and i have no idea how i can change or eliminate this.
this may be the problem as the DNS on GoDaddy is pointing to the right dns address.
Sorry for this!

Hi there,
Try it now and let me know what you see. I checked and see that the domain is now pointing to Go Daddy and not WordPress.com.
Let me know if it now looks correct. Thanks!
