unmapping a domain name I own
-
I mapped a domain name I own beliefalone.com to beliefalonedotcom.wordpress.com because I thought that beliefalone.wordpress.com was already taken. I later discovered that I had beliefalone.wordpress.com reserved. I could not figure out how to unmap it, so I deleted beliefalonedotcom.wordpress.com thinking that would unmap beliefalon.com. I now am having trouble trying to map beliefalone.com to beliefalone.wordpress.com
I need help with beliefalone.wordpress.com

I just went in and attempted to map beliefalone.com to beliefalone.wordpress.com and I apparently missed something in the process and I got mapped to beliefalonecom.wordpress.com instead. I wasn’t intending to add another blog.

I’m glad you’ve got this sorted. :)
In case anyone else runs into this, if you map a domain to the wrong site, rather than removing the upgrade, just go here:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgradesThen click “Transfer to another site” and choose the site you want. Cheers!
