Unmapping domain

  I’m moving from WordPress.com to WordPress.org – I need to unmap the domain caffeinenjeans.com from the website caffeinenjeans.wordpress.com – every time I try go into the admin for caffeinenjeans.com (now hosted by wp.org) I get this message: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

  Hi there,

  Although the mapping subscription for caffeinenjeans.com has been removed, it looks like the domain nameservers is still pointing to WordPress.com instead of GoDaddy which is most likely why you are receiving the warning message.

  I would log into your GoDaddy account and update the nameservers:

  https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-nameservers-for-domains-hosted-and-registered-with-godaddy-12316

  Thank you! That fixed it :) One more question, it looks like when I go to caffeinenjeans.com it keeps redirecting to caffeinenjeans.net – but in an incognito browser, it’s working fine – do you know why that is?

  Hi there,

  It may have been that the domain propagation was still occurring once you changed the nameservers. I am getting directed straight to caffeinenjeans.com whenever I visit the site in both the normal and incognito browsers.

  Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache? Try that and see if you still have the same issue.

  caffeinenjeans.com is going to http://caffeinenjeans.com/ for me, so I recommend clearing your browser’s cache: https://www.refreshyourcache.com

  Hi, I really need help

  My domain faunageo.org (purchased with GoDaddy) was mapped to my site faunageo.wordpress.com

  Then, I registed a second domain (with WordPress.com) faunageographic.com and made it primary at same site faunageo.wordpress.com

  However, my domain faungeo.org still redirects to the same site on wordpress.

  I have changed the name servers at GoDaddy to point it to GoDaddy again, but when I go to faunageo.org, it stills redirects to my site in wordpress.

  Could you have a look?
  I emailed with another person but I dont know if they understand me
  I do not want to cancel the plan with wordpress, I just want to cancel the mapping I did in the past with the damain faunageo.org

  In oher words, I need someone to remove faunageo.org from wordpress

  I have removed the mapping for faunageo.org and it’s already pointing to GoDaddy. If you still see your WordPress.com site loading instead of that on GoDaddy, please clear your browser’s cache and try again.
