Unmapping domain from wordpress with expired premium plan

  Hello,

  I would like to unmap my domain from the wordpress host. However my premium plan has expired and I do not want to renew it. I am confused and would like support on how to get this done

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @akannelson,

  Log in to your WordPress.com account and go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases to cancel what you no longer want.

  The next step after cancelling your plan is to login to your domain provider (GoDaddy, in this case), and change the name server settings. The name servers currently still point to WordPress.com hosting. Once you reset these to default or your new host, the domain name will no longer point to WordPress.com.

  There doesn’t seem to be any unmapping needed at this end, but the post is already tagged for staff to confirm.
