unnatural links detected by google
-
An outside website informed me that Google detected unnatural links on my site. I could only find them on ONE page. I deleted it.
Is there an easier way to search my site to find the unwanted links? I searched some of my 200 posts by using the keys words and couldn’t find more.
here’s the email from the person:

Hi there!
That warning is automatically generated by Google when it detects a large number of links coming from one site to another, which could be (but isn’t always) them trying to improve their Google search ranking by “planting” links back to their site. That’s why Google says they’re “unnatural”. (One example of this is someone leaving a ton of comments with links to their website.)
If you’ve linked to their site frequently, but the links are legitimate, it looks like there are a couple things you can do.
1. Add a “rel=nofollow” attribute to the links:

2. Remove some of the links.
But really, you don’t have to do anything. The owner of the website can “disavow” those incoming links from their Webmaster Tools, so it won’t affect their search ranking.
Here’s Google’s help page about it:

Please let me know if you have any further questions!
