Unnecessary mapping upgrade
-
Hi there,
Until a while back, I owned http://www.katbrown.net through Mr Site, but since they were awful, set up http://www.exoticmaypole.com and paid to map katbrown.net to that address. However, that redirect hasn’t worked since last year so I assumed it was all over and done with.
WordPress blocked my access to my blog until I paid mapping costs for katbrown.net. However, this has been owned by a chap in Japan since 2014, which begs the question: what am I paying for, and how can it stop? katbrown.net currently just shows a vacant page.
In the absence of the email helpdesk, I would be very grateful for any help as my (significantly more tech-savvy) other half and I are confused to say the last.
Thank you!
Kat

Hello,
I’ve tagged this post for a staff member to review as they could review your account details and help sort things out. -
Hey Kat,
I see that you renewed mapping for katbrown.net on April 11, 2015. I’m happy to disconnect that for you, since you no longer own that domain!
Also, I have fully refunded your purchase, as requested.
Please keep in mind, it can take several days for a refund to appear on your bank statement.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Enormously appreciated, and the refund came through – thank you very much Robyn and micawbr!
