unneeded website entry.

    I registered middle8net.wordpress.com when I first registered at WordPress. It’s listed as my primary site at WP, but I did nothing with it at the time. I eventually wound up creating https://middle8.net. That is listed as a ‘linked blog’ in my WP account.
    Am I safe to delete the first entry, and/or how can I ‘promote’ the 2nd/actual website to be reflected in WP as the primary/only project?

    Hi there,

    Your WordPress.com site and your Jetpack-connected site are two completely separate entities, so you can safely delete the former without it having any effect on the latter, yes.

    You can change the primary site for your account at https://wordpress.com/me/account, though once you delete the WordPress.com site the other one should automatically become the primary one.

    You can also add the URL to the Website URL field on that page. Then when you comment on someone else’s site, your username will link to that site.
