  I purchase the theme Photography for $68 and paid the $12 for the use of my existing domain name. (Morethansocial.com)
  My question is why do I have the marketing and sales banner still on my page?

  “Blog at WordPress.com.”
  “Theme: Photography by The Theme Foundry”

  Can this advertising be removed?
  Is there another fee?

  You site can be suspended if your remove the footer and credits

  The current policy about the footer in the support documentation:

  May I remove the ‘Blog at WordPress.com’ credit in my site’s footer?
  Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit.

  Just a PS on the VIP being required to also have the footer – that upgrade BEGINS at $ 20,000 a year.
