Unpark my domain

  Hello,
  I cancelled my auto registration on 7th and I want it back from a different provider. The domain seems parked with wordpress.com. Can the wordpress release it?

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all, and we have no way to manually release a cancelled domain earlier. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  If you still want to use this domain, we can instead restore it to your account, and then help you transfer or point it to the service where you want to use it. As you’ve already been refunded for your recent renewal payment on the domain you will need to pay for it again first, as it has already been renewed at the registry for another year. Please confirm if we should restore the domain, and we’ll send you a link to pay for the renewal again and then restore it to your account.
