Unparking Domain

I need WordPress.com to unpark my domain, brideonbase.com. It has gone down without any cause I can ascertain. Wild West Domains shows the domain active. The wrong email address is also listed on the registry for the domain. It isn’t mine at all and I need to change it. Thanks.

    Hey brideonbase,

I have added the “modlook” tag to get the staff’s assistance. Please wait for a while to get a reply from a staff member.

  • Hi there,

brideonbase.com expired on 26 September as the last renewal payment was on 26 August 2017, and was removed from our system a week ago. It will enter redemption at our domain provider within the next few days, after which it will be completely deleted at the registry. Once the domain enters redemption there is an additional $80 fee to recover it.

I’ve sent you a link to pay the renewal fee for the domain. Once we receive your payment we can email our domain provider to restore the domain. Hopefully we can still get it back before it enters redemption, but if it enters redemption before we’re able to contact our domain provider you will need to pay the redemption fee as well.

Wild West Domains shows the domain active.

This is normal, and it will show that until it enters redemption. It doesn’t change the fact that the domain expired almost two months ago and is no longer in our control.

The wrong email address is also listed on the registry for the domain

That is the email under which the domain was originally registered. You’ll only be able to update that once the domain is restored to our system.

  • I see you’ve also opened an email ticket with us and we finished the process of restoring your domain there, so I’m closing this thread as resolved.
