Unpublish a page
-
Hi, I clicked ‘publish’ for a page on this site completely by accident and now the whole website is listed on google. Please tell me what steps I should take to remove all the content until I am ready to publish.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have now done this, but the whole site still seems to be accessible google – that’s both the homepage and this page I clicked ‘published’ for.
Is it just the case that it will take a while to come down from google, or do I need to do something else?

When you start publishing posts they will drive what’s on the SERPs now down the page. When you delete a post that has been indexed by search engines like Google and Bing that post remains in the SERPs (search engine page results) for at least 3 – 6 months time until they clear their caches. In fact some other search engines never clear their caches at all.

Does that mean that my entry will still appear on the search page but further down?
Is there any way I can redirect this material for a while, so that it doesn’t actually list under my name?
Thank you for your help.
