“Unpublished” status in editing
-
When editing my upcoming articles, all I see in the date field is “unpublished.” Of course this means that I have to click on every single article to see what date I have not yet written for. This is an incredible hassle. Is there any way whatsoever to bring it back to the previous format, where you could see dates for all articles, published or not?
-
Dates are not assigned or displayed until an article is published – at least that is my experience. Once you publish with a time/date set then it will show the date under manage > posts.
-
i think the op is referring to future posts, which prior to this we can see the date it will be published on. now all it says is ‘unpublished’, even though technically you have published it… into the future! =P
i want the timestamp back for future posts! i mean logically we can see which is published or is due to by looking at the dates!

Ahhh, I hadn’t noticed that I guess. This is a problem and I agree we need the timestamp back.
-
I’ve only just noticed that as I hadn’t done any advanced posting in a while..
It is still possible to see the dat by going to Dashboard > Manage and hover over the ‘View’ of a post set to the future.
I agree though, I’d love to have that back. Anyone submitted a feedback yet?

Same here. That’s really frustrating. Why would they make a change that substantial without notifying users?

@dougkrile
It could have been a glitch, or perhaps staff saw the thread and silently changed some code to add it back in. From what I can gather, there are little (and sometimes not so little) updates corrections and changes going on all the time. -

I had an email from Mark confirming that the problem has been fixed. I declare this issue resolved!
