unpublishing pages in wordpress 3.0.1

    i am trying to make a few pages on our site disappear. i went to the individual pages and under visibility the only options are “public” “password protected” and “private”… i hoped private would make it disappear, but the page is still published. i want the page to be unpublished so it doesn’t show up doing google searches eventually. there is supposed to be a “draft” option under visibility, but I cannot seem to find it listed….

    help!
