Unregister a domain

  Hello,

  I have a domain currently through NameCheap and was using WordPress.com to host the domain and a blog I had made. I would like to unregister the domain but keep the blog via the free wordpress.*.com domain.

  Is there a way I can handle this without loosing what I currently have created?

  Hi Mike,

  Sure! Just update your primary domain to the address with .wordpress.com at the end of it by going to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard.

  Then, you should be set! If you’re not seeing it, try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below:
