Unregistered link relationship

  HI – can anyone help please – I have read similar posts to my problem but still cannot find the answer…
  I am trying to add my blog to two sites –
  http://www.technorati.com and
  http://www.blogcatalog.com

  both have asked me for my rss feed (??)

  and technorati have come back as saying they are unable to add my blog because:

  “We were unable to parse the feed URL you provided. Please verify the URL and try validating the feed at http://validator.w3.org/feed/

  I tried that and got the following messsage:

  This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
  • line 28, column 131: Unregistered link relationship:

  line 28
  <atom:link rel=”search” type=”application/opensearchdescription+xml” href=”http://algarveblog.net/osd.xml” title=”Algarve Blog” />

  sorry – this is way above my head …. anyone able to translate it for me and explain what I need to do?
  (The tech team are away for a week training too -!!)

  Hi. What is the exact RSS feed URL you are giving Technorati?

  This is the correct feed URL:
  http://algarveblog.net/feed/

  What you are seeing in the validation report is what we commonly see. The feed is valid.

  Good because it’s the correct RSS Feed URL , it’s valid and it’s working properly. You’re welcome. :)
