Unrequested blog in new website.

  I created a site by selecting the “Create a Website” rather than the “Create a Blog”” option. Yet when the site was created, there was clearly a blog with at least one entry. Why include the blog when I didn’t elect to have one? It certainly seems that you get web pages and a blog, no mater what options you pick.

  I assume I can delete the blog?

  This is taken from the support page that is linked below.

  A new wordpress.com website defaults to a “blog” view. Tweak the site’s settings to create a regular home page instead, using the home page you just made.
