Unrequested Follow Blogs Happening

  I am enrolled in The Commons for the Writing 101 and every time I comment on someone’s post it is automatically signing me up to follow their blog. How do I stop this from happening?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When you leave a comment on someone’s post, you’ll see a couple boxes below the comment box that you can check:

  • Notify me of new comments via email.
  • Notify me of new posts via email.

  Checking the second option (“Notify me of new posts via email.”) will subscribe you to that blog. If you don’t want to follow their blog, you can make sure to uncheck that box before submitting your comment.
