Unresolved layout issues with theme (Suburbia)
-
Hello,
A while back I raised a layout issue regarding a WordPress.com-provisioned theme. The original query is here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/private-support/layout-support-contact-for-certain-themes?replies=1
I was advised as you can see to contact the original theme author, which I have attemped via posts on their support forums. These have gone unanswered, and I have had no help or even acknowledgement from the theme vendor. My public requests are here:
http://wpshower.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24433
Could I please now ask for two things:
1) a sanity check to verify that this is indeed an issue as I understand it (it certainly seems that way to me)
2) escalate this to the theme vendor, as this cannot be affecting just me, and negatively impacts the WordPress.com experience. I’ve advised business clients on the ease-of-use factor of WordPress.com, but to have to manually insert padding via the markup editor as a workaround is counter to this, and something I have not experienced in any other WordPress.com theme to date.
Thanks,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Dave! We’ll take a look, and get back to you as soon as this is resolved.

Hi Dave,
we’ve deployed a fix that fixes the issue of the content in the sidebar colliding with the footer of the page.
Enjoy the theme!
