Unresponsive Script on "My Site"

    If I click the the ‘ My Site’ link at the top left of my blog and then Stats or from the Admin section, just ‘My Site’, the page loads, but then displays a beachball wait cursor before showing an unresponsive script message. It says:

    A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

    (actual message truncates the URL, but I this appears in the page source).

    Clicking Stop Script lets the rest of the page load. Clicking Debug brings back the wait cursor and I then Force Quit after a minute or so. I have not tried Continue.

    OS Version: Mac OS X 10.12.2 (Build 16C67)
    Browser is Firefox (Version: 50.1.0 (5016.12.8))

    I have only put a couple of test posts up so far and I’m guessing no views, so perhaps this is the problem.
