Unsleepable theme header with ‘pages’

  • Unknown's avatar

I am currently using the ‘unsleepable theme’ on my blog. I love this theme but currently having problems… My header has the ‘about’ page linked, but none of the other pages I have written come up.
How do I make the other pages show up? I have looked all over dashboard and cannot find any info.

    Thanks in advance!

can you link to one of those pages you’ve written? I’d like to see the URL

Here is the link for the ‘about’ page, which is the only comes up on the header:
    http://thethinbulletin.wordpress.com/about/

And here is the link for another page, this link does not come up on the header: http://thethinbulletin.wordpress.com/?page_id=12

I use wordpress . org for another one of my blogs, and I know how to edit html etc, I am using wordpress.com now just to have an easy option, but I cannot seem to find anywhere in the dashboard which asks if I want all the pages to come up on the header.

    Thanks for any help.

Well, just by looking at the URL that can’t be right. Why? because all pages and posts here at wordpress.com don’t use querystrings whereas a wordpress.org blog would.

Also, if you click on the link you’ve provided, you’ll get this message:

    Not Found

Oh no! You’re looking for something which just isn’t here! Fear not however, errors are to be expected, and luckily there are tools on the sidebar for you to use in your search for what you need.

So, such ‘page’ doesn’t exist, thus, it won’t appear on the tab bar.

Have you actually ‘published’ this page? Because if it’s a draft, that might be the reason why is not appearing on the tab bar.

    @thethinbulletin
Wordpress.com blogs are non-commercial blogs. They cannot be used to drive traffic to commercial sites. I would strongly encourage you to read the Terms of Service you agreed to in order to have a wordpress.com blog (note the purple part) http://wordpress.com/tos/
The banner ads in your sidebar have to go and the advertising in your posts will have to go too. Adsense and other advertising are not allowed. You are allowed only 1 discrete afiliate link either on your About page or in your sidebar and that’s it http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/12/08/adsense/
If you want to monteize a blog then wordpress.com is not for you. Instead you can hire a web host and download a free blog template from http://wordpress.org
