Good morning. I thank you for replying the last time I was standing on the edge of the cliff w/ this software. I tried using Gravatar widgets under appearance to add my authors to the blog. I want us to look like a team-we are… And it’s central to the mission of “Sturockin!” I helped my coeditor work through the g-tar process, not only is his original art not loading to the right sidebar- I find if he is logged into Gravatar, MY site is not even available…Beyond counterproductive, smh. They want him to create a site, I get it- but he’s not that type of person- i’m the fool with tens of thousands of words meant to have been posted in February-I’ve NEVER found myself run round & round in circles by software- i’ve compromised, shrugging my shoulders, changing the name of my blog when WordPress lopped off the final two letters, now Sturockin is Sturock. Fuck it…Lol. I’ve had sleepless nights blaming myself since Feb that I’m still talking about this blog and it’s not flooded with views, and to add insult to injury-I am the workhorse behind the project, yet not allowed to change my own role. The left menu has issues as well-the home link works but not the other. I’d truly love to speak live with someone-no problem chatting via email or Facebook messenger… email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I won’t tell you how many hours I’ve sunk into the forums-keeping myself awake sometimes three nights in a row chasing my tail… Yet on my off days I’ve learned N-track studios audio production software which offers the shittiest support on Earth- garage band which is a cakewalk, several other free audio effect programs… I’ve handmade instruments, potty trained my neighbors child… What I’m saying is, you’re not dealing with a fool- something has gone terribly wrong with Sturockin and I need your help please !!!

Click “Site Title & Tagline” on the left.
Change the site title and save.

Do you mean the link to the “About” page that you see when you click the icon with the three bars in it at the top left of https://sturockin.wordpress.com/ ?

I understand how frantic I must appear, it’s backlogged frustration. 1) Not setting up google site, was sent that link in a desperate moment & tossed it up, praying 4 progress. 2) the left menu panel appears sporadically. I think the designer referred to them as hmburgers? Chzbrgrs? The About Info turns up de temps en temps…3) The name…that’s a harsh blow, especially in light of WP already trashing it. Family name, runs parallel w/ legacy of pain, subjugation & positive vision of site.

When I click on the icon with the three bars in it (sometimes designers call that icon design a hamburger) at the top left of https://sturockin.wordpress.com/ it opens a screen that shows a menu with “Home” and “About” in it and there is also a search box. Clicking on About takes me to https://sturockin.wordpress.com/about/
I don’t see anything sporadically happening with the menu.

Sorry, I think I was confused. I thought you wanted to change the site title from “sturock” to “sturockin”, but now I’m not sure whether I completely misunderstood! Whatever you want the name to be, you can change it using the instructions I posted before. Hope that helps!
