unsticky posts

  What is the best way to ‘unsticky’ pasts posts? I don’t think I know how this works exactly. I was making every post ‘sticky’ so it would show up at the top. I think I no longer need to do that and would like to remove the stickies from before / maybe put it on a few key posts.
