  You can close your WordPress.com account from the account settings page:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  For security reasons we cannot do this for you.

  I keep getting someone’s email newsletter, but I no longer want it.

  I click on UNSUBSCRIBE at the bottom of their newsletter and it takes me to a page that tells me nothing, with no option to unsubscribe.

  I want to contact Comcast, my IP and report this as a violation of anti-spam rules. I should be able to easily unsubscribe without jumping through hoops. Acquiescing I entered my email as it notes — for instructions on how to unsubscribe — and I can still not get rid of the f-ing newsletter. Just got a new unwanted mail from this person. Why is this set up like this?

  Please don’t post into unrelated threads created by other people.

  What is the URL of the site you’re receiving these emails from, and what is the sender address of the emails?

  We only have control over WordPress.com subscription emails, which will always come from a @wordpress.com email address, and your account is not subscribed to any sites hosted on WordPress.com using our email subscriptions.

  You do appear to be subscribed to comments on specific posts on the sites, https://starsofwonder.com/, https://www.daykeeperjournal.com/ and https://humanizingthevacuum.wordpress.com/. You should be able to manage those subscriptions at https://subscribe.wordpress.com/, or you can completely block all WordPress.com subscription emails from your account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions/

  If you’re receiving a newsletter from someone via a third party newsletter service, please contact the newsletter provider they’re using directly for help with this.

  I also want to unsubsbribe from emails but the Unsubscribe and Manage Subscriptions do not open anything! I cannot find an option anywhere!
