Add topic to favorites
I need to unsubscribe from a blog.

1. When I choose unsubscribe from a post, the page that appears has various blogs listed, but NOT the one I want to unsubscribe from.

2. Have contacted author of blog. He is unable to help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@dlazyd I don’t see the subscription under your account; could you be using a different email address?

And in any case, the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your email should let you unsubscribe directly. Is that not working?

2. The unsubscribe link brings me to a page to manage subscriptions where the offending one does not appear. When I enter the different email address, it doesn’t appear there either!

We would need to know what that address is to troubleshoot. You can type it here and our software will hide it from all but staff.

My guess is that it’s bringing you to the page for this account, since you are logged in. If you use the same link while not logged in it should work.

Hello!

I want to be free of all posts moving forward. This writer is prolific and I get 3-5 posts every day. A part of why I want to unsubscribe. The following URL is an example. robertlindsay.wordpress.com/2018/05/26/pua-game-the-advantage-of-having-a-close-female-friend-or-a-female-best-friend/

Unfortunately, no. The offending blog does not appear on the list from which I can choose to unsubscribe.

I wasn’t able to find any subscriptions for that address, currently.

In the emails you’re getting, you should get an unsubscribe link close to the “Thanks with Flying with WordPress” note near the bottom.

Please log out of WordPress.com in your browser, then click on that link.

Or, if you aren’t seeing that link at all, let us know what you are seeing.

I do in fact find the unsubscribe link on each posting. When I click on it, the offending blog does NOT appear as one of the choices from which to unsubscribe..

I quit all applications, turned the computer off, restarted, clicked link = nada.

None of that would necessarily log you out of your account, but you can log out here:
https://wordpress.com/me

Click “Sign Out”

No need to reboot after that. Closing the browser completely wouldn’t hurt though.

Then click the email link.

No items found.
