Unsubscribed Blog still sends comment notifications

I subscribed in a blog for notifications when a new comment is posted. I later un-subscribed it and removed from the list. But it still sends notifications in my mail id.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Today i have received no notifications from that blog, although it has new comments, that means the settings now work. I think it took some time to get it work. Yesterday i deleted the subscription , and it was deleted instantly and was not showing in my subscription list. But still i was getting email notifications for a long time, and the mailbox was almost flooded. This should be checked, as subscribing to popular blog with frequent comments can flood the mailbox of the subscriber.
