Unsubscribing

I am trying to unsubscribe from a blog (as a wordpress.com user). The instructions on
    https://wordpress.com/support/following/
say to sign into my account then visit the blog from which I wish to unsubscribe and click on the Follow box at the bottom right of the page. The problem is half the time there is no such Follow box and the other half the time when I scroll down to the bottom of the blog roll more posts are added into my browser and I’m no long at the bottom of the page where the Follow box is supposed to be found.

This is the craziest most dysfunctional thing I have seen in some time.

How is this supposed to work…does it work at all?

    Hi,

other half the time when I scroll down to the bottom of the blog roll more posts are added into my browser and I’m no long at the bottom of the page where the Follow box is supposed to be found.

It’s not necessary to scroll to reach the box. Just move your cursor to it and click.

If you don’t find a Follow box, then try the following alternate method. In the same section of the Following Blogs support page is this alternate method:

You can also click Edit List in your Reader to display the list of blogs you follow. Find the blog you no longer wish to follow, then click the green word Following next to the name of the site to stop receiving notifications of new posts from that blog.

I think the link or button that they refer to as “Edit List” might have been replaced by a “Manage” button some time ago. The “Edit List” link in the quote above goes to the “Manage Followed Sites” page. The page can also be reached by clicking the “Manage” button at Reader/Followed Sites.
