  The problem is that the instructions do not work. There is no Follow button in the lower right hand corner. I’m a User and I fiddled and fumed around for hours and finally the blog I wanted to delete suddenly disappeared. Not because I did anything to cause it, because the directions on your support site are the same as given by 3 or 4 people Replying, but for all of them I needed to find a Follow button and there is none.

  I have a domain name I’ve been wanting to have hosted here but it’s too difficult to get consistency here. I had automatic log in to my favorite blog, hosted by Word Press, for about 2 years, then suddenly that no longer works. sometoimes I’m asked to log in 3 or 4 times during a 3 hour run. VERY frustrating! Thank you to the people who replied to my query about unsubscribing a blog.!

  Hi there,

  What is the site you were trying to unfollow? If it didn’t have a follow button, the site owner either hid it using custom CSS, or it’s a self-hosted WordPress site. In that case you’d still be able to unfollow it directly from the Reader as described in the support docs, at this link:

  To what site are you referring here? Repeated requests to log in points to a cookie problem. Please clear your browser cookies, and also make sure that you have third party cookies enabled.

  This can also be caused by browser extensions like Privacy Badger which overrides your browser’s cookies settings to disable them. Without cookies, there’s no way for any website to detect whether you are logged in or not.
