Unsubscribing from a group or whatever!

    A week or two back I unsubscribed from Cycling Geelong as we are moving interstate.
    Today I find 2 posts from them. Can someone please sort it for me?

    Are you sure the emails are coming from WordPress.com? As you mentioned, you are not subscribed to that site anymore and you have also not received any notification about a new post from that site in the past two weeks.

    Could you have subscribed to a newsletter rather than to their blog?

    Riding with friends from Cycling Geelong

    Thanks to Rod for letting us all know about his ride last Monday, led to pastures new by Kevin.

    I went on Kevin’s Monday ride this week.

    It was one of those all time memorable experiences like the ride I did with David Fisher to Torquay all those years ago.

    Kevin took us through Warralilly from the Barwon Heads road to the Torquay road along the Armstrong creek.

    It was a beautifully conceived route exploring this new subdivision and came back via Waurn Ponds. We compared the bold and the new.

    We talked town planning and passed through stands of old red gums and so got onto things green.

    As always the chums we ride with are integral, all good to talk with, we came home elated.

    The ride was clearly very well planned in detail, lead with panache.

    This was one of those all time memorable rides which make being in CG so worthwhile.

    Thanks Kevin and all those others who were part of the day.

    That is great advice….BUT:
    Given I have had a link sent
    I have unsubscribed about 3 times
    Please explain why I am still getting these emails?

    I don’t see any unsubscribe attempts under that email.

    Make sure you’re logged out of WordPress.com first, since this is not the email address on your account here.

    If you’re logged in to WordPress.com, you’ll just be taken to your account’s subscriptions, not this email addresses’s subscriptions.

    Makes sense now…….appears when I unsubscribed I had NOT logged out!
