Unsupported Country – Map Domain

Hello, I have a domain name that I bought, and I want to map it to my wordpress.com blog, but I live in an unsupported country apparently, Lebanon, although I can purchase online from almost all websites with my Lebanese credit card. My question is : is there a workaround for that? Otherwise, can I get a coupon or voucher instead? Thank you :)

I don’t know of a workaround you can use. I do know that you can request a refund if you are within the allowed timeframe > http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds

Please ignore my first comment above as it is stupid. The correct answer is the only methods of payment for upgrades are major credit cards from approved countries and PayPal supported countries. There are no other payment options.

Yes, there are no other payment options, you are right, but I was hoping there was a way to get vouchers or coupons in this case. Someone from the WordPress team has to help us here… :/

Some people have been able to have friends or relatives that live in a supported country buy the upgrades for them. Yes that is real awkward
Yes it would be nice if they could figure out some way to allow people in non-supported countries buy upgrades – not like they are shipping big screen TV’s or computers somewhere –
