unsupported protocol

  My site is now saying I’m using an unsupported protocol and Jetpack can’t connect to it. I have had this happen once before and it was resolved by WP, but I don’t know what was done to correct it. How do I fix this issue?

  Hey there,

  I can see your site is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.  

  The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

  I’m sorry for not understanding, but I log into my site from WordPress.com and that’s the app I use, but it’s not hosted by wordpress.com? I don’t personally use wordpress.org for any logins. Sorry for the confusion.
