Unsure which theme to use

  I have a friend I’m trying to help set up her website here on WordPress.com. She’s got a bunch of small biz sites that she wants to kind of list all in one place with a static front page and a blog on another tab. I thought I had enough knowledge to help her, but I don’t. Can anyone recommend a free theme that would accomplish this?
