Hi,
I have been asked to unsubscribe a very computer illiterate person from my wordpress blog- how do I take his name off my subscriber list?

I better be clearer, the guy in question subscribed as an email subscriber, but now doesn’t want it and asked me to remove him…

This ability has been removed by Staff.
Since my above posting, I’ve discovered that it is no longer possible to remove even email subscribers from our blogs. So I’m bringing this back up as a further request to allow blog owners the ability to remove unwanted subscribers, regardless of whether they are email or WordPress.com subscribers.

Each email your subscriber gets should have an “Unsubscribe” link down at the bottom – a bit hidden but have them look down at the very bottom and click on the link.

My personal financial information and full name have been posted at a wordpress hate site and it has been a week since I complained with nothing done. I have written wordpress repeatedly. Should I get an attorney?

The answer to the question auxclass posted is important. There are two wordpress sites and they are completey separate. For clarity read this please. > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

I’m curious how to “unsubscribe” readers as well.
I recently posted a password protected blog and it was emailed out to my email subscribers. I’d rather not have that happen. Big security issue for me.

Unfortunately, staff enable email subscriptions to private blogs. I didn’t realize that the contents of password-protected posts also got mailed out.
Staff are the ones who would have to disallow it, so you need to give them the feedback via your dashboard help button.

I have someone subscribing to my blog that I do not want subscribed. Is there nothing I can do to not have them as a subscriber?

Look up the blog knechelknocker.wordpress.com – It was suspended. I was the target of that blog and the administrator has been stalking me all around the Internet. All of her blogs have been removed for TOS Violations. The woman told me I’d be dead in 666 days.
None of her financial information has ever been posted anywhere.
Visit daveknechel.com to see who her target is. The woman is insane and a menace to society. 10 of her blogs were taken down by WP in less than a month.
