Untitled Theme – Feature Image on front page

I am a newbie. I have been experimenting to see how this all works. I can’t figure out how to have a featured image (or images) on my Home/front page. When I click on my posts, they a feature header image and slider appears – but not on home/front page. I’m using the Untitled theme; site is

Thanks for your reply! I’ve tried this:
To set up Untitled’s Front Page Slider:Navigate to Settings → Reading.
Scroll down to the section labeled “Featured Content”.
Enter the name of a tag.
Click the blue “Save Changes” button at the bottom.
Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 1024px wide.
Note: The featured image will look best at these dimensions: 1440px wide, 400px tall.
Give the post the tag you declared under Settings → Reading → Featured Content.But it’s just not working for me. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I followed this procedure to create the featured image for my two “posts”. And they work fine. But there is no image on home/front page. Should I be using a specific “name of a tag” in step 3?

I went through the steps again, using “test” as the name of the tag. It posted it as an entry but still no feature photo on the main/home page

I’m having the same problem. I will watch this thread with interest! Once thats solved I’m also wondering how you get the text to overlay the images.

I got it 1/2 working. Though I can only get one post to be the big header type.
Some things I learnt in the process for anyone else:
:: The writing on the image is the post title – makes sense.
:: If your post is one of the header posts on the front page of your site it doesn’t appear in your posts list underneath e.g. when I only had one post and finally got it as the header I had a message saying no posts yet, though I could click on the header and see the post.
:: It doesn’t matter what the tag word is e.g. one word I used was emotion
Looking forward to hearing more though from the Themes team so I can get it working properly and with any post I want.

I am seeing one post in your site’s slider (tagged with “Front Page Slider”) with the assigned featured image, on your home page. Everything appears to be working properly.
Are you still having this problem, or do you need additional help? If so, could you describe the problem in detail, and take screenshots to illustrate the issue?

Yes, problem seems to be solved. Had to get further assistance about how to use “tags” to make this happen. Will be working further on it this weekend. Keeping fingers crossed all continues to go smoothly. Thanks!
