Untitled theme: lines in the centre of featured images

  Hello, I am wondering whether the lines in the centre of featured images serve any purpose…? They don’t appear to have any function and look very odd indeed. Has anyone got any ideas?

  Untitled is such a lovely theme and I’m grateful for it, but those lines (that disappear once you go into the actual post) are unappealing and driving me nuts.

  Those semi-transparent icons are supposed to mark the post format (standard, video, gallery etc). You can’t remove them except if you have the Custom Design upgrade.
