Untrusted connection
-
If a search is done for an article on my blog and it is listed in the relative search engine, clicking on the link brings up a warning notice
“This Connection is Untrusted. You have asked Firefox to connect securely to truebluenz.com, but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
What Should I Do?If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.
truebluenz.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.wordpress.com , wordpress.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
I have looked a long time on these forums for a solution to this problem but have not found it. I assume it would be a matter of somehow fixing the certificate so that it correctly certifies the site.
Anyone know how to do this or otherwise fix the problem?
Not much fun if people searching for information cannot access my blog because of this pop up notice scaring them off.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Firstly, your site is alright. I am able to search your site in Firefox and did not see any security warnings.
Sounds like Third Party Cookies are disabled in your browser. Could you please check if they are disabled and enable them if they are already not?
How do I enable third-party cookies? support document teaches you how.

Thank you for the suggestion but apparently third party cookies are enabled according to the link you suggested. I also looked in Firefox to ensure this to be right.
Here is an example of the problem.
My site is the first to come up on this search page.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=candice+lester+andrew+leigh&t=ffab
I wonder if you could click the first link (to my site) on the above page and see if you get the same warning message as I do.
Thanks again.

Actually, I think I have just seen the problem. For some reason the site is being listed as https:// rather than http:// or www.
Is there a way to make it list as just www. ?
-
Also I have just discovered the warning sign does not appear if I use Google. However it appears if I use Bing or Duckduckgo.

WordPress.com moved all the sites on its network to https and we cannot change it. Also we cannot have www in the address for SEO reasons. Non-www is better for SEO.
-
So I guess this means there is no solution, no way of getting the site to search correctly in other search engines.
Thank you for your help anyway chaitanyamsv.

I just checked your site on Duckduckgo and did not receive that untrusted connection error.
